WHY VIREON

COMPLIANCE IS IMPORTANT.
UNDERSTANDING CONTROL IS ESSENTIAL.

Regulated supply chains depend on documentation, testing, quality systems and appropriate certification. Vireon considers these within the wider operational system — because what is documented, what is measured and what happens in practice need to be understood together.

Vireon's approach combines practical understanding, systems thinking, technical reference and evidence based assessment to support clearer decisions and more focused development.

THE CERTIFICATE IS ONE PIECE OF EVIDENCE

Certification can provide important evidence that an organisation or operation has been assessed against defined requirements. It does not remove the need to understand how relevant systems perform in practice or how conditions may develop over time.

DOCUMENTED CONTROL AND DEMONSTRATED CONTROL ARE NOT ALWAYS THE SAME THING.

A SAMPLE IS NOT A BATCH

Laboratory testing is essential. But an analytical result begins with the sample that was actually tested. Understanding the result also requires an understanding of the relationship between that sample, the material and the wider process from which it originated.

TEST THE SAMPLE. UNDERSTAND THE SYSTEM.

THE INTERFACES MATTER

Cultivation, technical systems, post-harvest operations, quality systems and downstream expectations do not exist independently.

Cultivation

DON'T ONLY ASSESS THE COMPONENTS, UNDERSTAND THE CONNECTIONS.

FROM REQUIREMENTS TO READINESS

Regulatory requirements, guidance, technical references, customer expectations and operational objectives can overlap, but they are not automatically the same thing

A TECHNICAL REFERENCE IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY A LEGAL LIMIT.

AN EVOLVING REGULATORY ENVIRONMENT

Expectations across cultivation, quality management and pharmaceutical supply chains continue to develop. Vireon follows relevant regulatory developments and considers their direction when developing its professional approach.

Current requirments, guidance, draft developments and technical reference should be clearly distinguished.

WHERE STANDARDS RISE

ASSESS FIRST. ADVISE SECOND.

Where Vireon performs an assessment, conclusons should reflect the evidence available within the agreed scope. Potential follow-on consulting work should not determine those conclusions.

FINDINGS SHOULD FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE — NOT THE COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITY.

CLEAR PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

Vireon provides technical assessment, quality-system, readiness and advisory services. Certification, regulatory approval and activities reserved for appropriately authorised organisations or professionals remain the responsibility of those parties.
